Overview
This project explores the rebranding of Goody’s Burger House, a Greek fast-food chain. The brand serves families and younger audiences across Europe and beyond.
-
Founded in 1973 in Thessaloniki, Goody’s has strong recognition. Over time, global burger culture shaped its identity. This weakened its connection to Greek heritage. The challenge was to restore warmth and authenticity while keeping the brand accessible and familiar.
-
Goody’s brings people together through shared meals. It celebrates Greek culture and heritage. The brand is repositioned as a fast-casual experience rooted in tradition. It offers familiar, comforting food with a playful, social spirit. This direction sets Goody’s apart from generic burger chains. It blends warmth, authenticity, and a family-friendly experience.
-
Goody’s tone is playful and social. It builds on lines like “All you need is Love & Fries” and “It’s Good to Share.” The rebrand introduces a warmer voice focused on home and care. Packaging is bold and recognizable, with the logo at its center. The helmet’s “fire hair” adds energy and personality.
-
Dining is reimagined as eating at your Yiayia’s table (grandma’s table). It feels simple, comforting, and made with care. The menu highlights fresh ingredients like vegetables, olives, and citrus. Classic items are elevated with a homemade feel. The experience centers on comfort, familiarity, and togetherness.
The identity is built around the helmet of King Philip II of Macedon, referencing his statue in Thessaloniki. Its shape subtly echoes a burger, linking heritage with the product.
Visual Identity and System
-
The logo combines the helmet form, a flame-like crest, and a clean sans-serif typeface. This creates a look that feels modern, distinctive, and approachable. It balances tradition with everyday familiarity.
-
The color palette expands on Goody’s signature red with green and beige. These tones draw from Greece’s agricultural landscape. Green reflects freshness and local produce, while beige adds warmth.
